Welcome - Sydney Street Art

I've always been a fan of street art  especially the way it interacts with the architecture of a building or the way it is placed on a wall along the street. Often with a message of some kind. I was first exposed to this public art by my sister in London when she took me past a Banksy and I've been hooked ever since.

I started this blog to share the works I have come across during my day to day in Sydney. I'll do my best to share the location and as much information I can find about a particular artist.

I'm very open to freedom of speech and expressing yourself in art but I will not condone any type of vandalism or hate speech. A very thin line I know but the key is to respect.

Artists feel free to get in touch would like to see more of your work. Readers of the blog would be great to hear from you, let me know of what you have seen in and around Sydney.

My first post is of a door I came across in Bondi after breakfast one morning. The little flower is rather popular around Sydney (feel free to share any info you might have on it). I kind of got the feeling of Alice wondering where will the door take me.

Enjoy.

Interesting reading...
