The current Australian government has recently implemented a new "carbon tax". If you care enough you can read about both sides of the story here and here.
A artist who I can only identify as "John John" has put up a few graffiti stencilling technique pieces in Rosebay, Bondi and along the Bondi to Tamarama walk.
I have been walking or driving past these for some time. I would have to say that they were a large part of my inspiration to start this blog. The two on white walls are in Bondi and Rosebay and can be seen on heavy vehicle traffic routes but still give the impression that they are hiding behind a wall or building, heavily armed ready for action, waiting for you to brake the carbone laws. The one on the brick face wall is on the Bondi to Tamarama walk far away from any real traffic and are duplicates of the other two.
I have not come across any more of these so if you see any please let me know. I'd also be interested to see more of John Johns work, even get in touch with him to see more of his work. Sydneys Banksy?
